WVU BOUNCES BACK
After losing 4 of 5 games the Mountianeers came back with a strong showing Saturday in Morgantown. They held off a late surge to defeat Louisville, 68-64. In the process WVU ran its record to 19-8.
Kevin Pittsnogle led WVU in scoring with 21 points and suprise point guard J.D. Collins scored a career high 13 points to provide and extra lift.
The Mountaineers next game is Monday night. The Panthers of Pitt come in for a fired up senior night crowd.
