What a Ride!

WVU women's basketball went on a killer run this week in the Big East tourney. Starting as the #12 seed in the 12 team tournament the Lady Eer's made a run that reminded me of the men's team last year. They knocked off the #5, #4 and #1 seed before falling a bit short tonight against #2 seed UCONN.

The girls playing without leader Meg Bulger, who will have knee surgery tomorrow, played a great game against the Huskies but couldn't pull it out down the stretch, losing 50-44. The team finished 15-16 on the season.
